Bangkok 2015 - WEEK 1

Sawadekaa!
Hello Thailand and hello Bangkok, the place of nice and peaceful people, a hot and wet climate, delicious food and beautiful places! I am happy to be here again, for one month longer than last year and with another agency. As you may have noticed - i didnt post anything since more than one month. I am sorry for that huge break but I lost my mobile in China (as you can reread it) and I got one of a friend, which could not install Blogspot. Whatever, now I just posted the last 4 weeks of experiences in Shanghai that you've missed, so don't forget to reread the last posts if you're interested as I did a lot of pictures.
And now let me tell you about my hard and stressful first week in Bangkok....
I arrived on Saturday last week and was picked up by my booker who told me already how the things work here and showed me my compcard that he did to me. When we arrived at my apartment I was in love already..almost everything around that building was out of green, I mean palms and trees and I heard a lot of birds so I felt pure nature. We waited for a girl who had the keys and went upstairs to my room which is very big and actually for four persons but I am the second one in it. We also have a balcony where I just chilled with the girl talking about love and life..and how things are going there. I started to feel comfortable from this moment on. I smelt the air, heard the soft Thai language and listened to the girl telling me that everything is quite chilled here. I was so happy ! Because China made me so tired in the end and I really hoped that I can have a little time for myself and take a break of all the clubs and castings in China. I asked if it's possible to visit the beach side in our free time and she said of course if you are sure that you're free just do whatever you want to. After 2 hours of talking we made an appointment the next day in the morning to show me around and help me to do some important stuff such as changing money and buy a Thai Sim card. I met my roommate Katia very soon and found her sympathic from the first moment. She is from Russia but lives in Shanghai for the second year already with her boyfriend and came to BKK for good pictures. I was very lucky that I had a whole free day the next day for all the important things and for making friends with my house mates and looking around the area. I even went to a massage place with Katia very close to our house for about 4 euros...I just don't wanna try to tell you how amazing that was after a flight and a trip. And the highlight of the day was my dinner. A big white fish from the grill filled with onions garlic and green in combination with a hot salty fresh corn. After Chinas oily kitchen it was just a paradise to see a whole street full of street food which is healthy and cheap and 5 minutes to walk from our house. The next days I had 2-3 castings (I had around 10 a day in China). We go to the castings on our own what is a lot more interesting than sitting in the bus not moving your legs and not seeing anything else from outside. I tried to do important things after the castings and relax a bit and the next days I found out that the pool in front of our house which belongs to our neighbour is free for us. So on my first free day, Wednesday I spent a morning in the pool eating fruits and drinking fresh juices. My second free day was full and interesting. Renee, a Belgian girl who lives in my house, and me did a river cruise and jumped of close to one of the temples. After walking around a little bit we went to the main street in the center called Khan Dan Road and ate a coconut ice cream there and waited for my Thai friends from last year. They invited me for celebrating into my birthday at a nice rooftop bar with a view on a temple. It was amazing...we had a lot of fun, drank champagne and cocktails and I even got a small cake. The next day was my birthday so I tried to do the best of it. Of course it was already special just to be in this country with a summer weather instead of cold freezy autumn as it is now in Germany. However, I didn't really know many people and was not sure how it will be without my lovely family and boyfriend. The day was very relaxed ..I slept well, had two castings that were easy and had a nice breakfast. I went to the pool with an ice cream and fruits and chilled around 2 hours there. After this I showered and went to the massage place close to our house and had a nice dinner after it. So I made a lot of presents for myself. Back home I started to Skype with my best friend who told me everything what I missed and then I saw my whole family that met up especially to celebrate my birthday and drink something for it. We did chin chin through the camera. We talked for two hours and I felt as if I were there. It was so good to do this and a perfect present. My roommate returned late that day because she was on a trip to Laos to do a working visa. When she came back I prepared some sweet wine and a few snacks and we were talking at the balcony for 2 hours and then continued inside. It was so super relaxing and perfect to sleep well and start into another sightseeing day: on Saturday we went to the big market here, the chatuchak. Its huge and you can just find everything there what you think of and 3 times cheaper than in other places. We didn't buy anything but we were so tired after walking that we went to do massage again...but I took the foot massage this time which was amazing with balms and oils. In the evening we were invited to a dinner of a friend, enjoyed the time, drank cocktails and returned back no to late. But how did my week end up? I am on my way to Laos to do the business visa as well! That's where I took the time to write you .

Shanghai 2015 - WEEK 8 (my last days)

Nihao for the last time.
Regardless of the free holiday that we supposed to have i had a last job in my last week in Shanghai. It was for sports underwear and shirts, the team was super nice and they just loved me..they clapped in their hands after every of my poses and were just happy with the pictures. And me...of course I was happy that they were happy but I didnt feel well that day..I checked my emails and messages in every free minute for answers of scouters from other countries, as I wanted to leave China. But as I also had the opportunity to to go to HK first and then to another city in China, I was kind of more worrying about not knowing where I will go than about the fact that it might happen that the scouters get negative replies and I had to stay here. Anyway, I tried hard to work professional and don't show them that I am thinking of something completely different. So I think the pictures should be nice and will work for th catalog.
A friend of Ken invited me to visit him at the ancient town Zhiaojiaojiao not far from Shanghai centre. I decided to go there because I felt as I would have leave Shanghai soon, I don't know know why butI I just felt it..
It was a really nice day.. I woke up late and took my time with breakfast and took the metro to the central bus station where I took the bus to the town what took around 2 hours and he picked me up there showed me the place, we had a nice lunch and in the evening I came back to Shanghai and had a nice dinner with my friends..
The next day was super relaxig as well, I went to the Tea Market and bought a lot of traditional Chinese tea as I think it's the best souvenir from China. In the evening I was invited to a good Japanese restaurant by some Taiwanese friends that I met at a job and it was veery tasty.. What I really love about the Asian and food habits is that they always share..they order a lot of dishes and everyone can take something of that in their plate so that everyone tastes everything. So, we had delicious fishes and salads and soups and drank Sake so that I wa ready to go in my favourite M1nt club to have a pre-last party in Shanghai, as the next day was just a happy day for me. I was sitting at home skyping and chatting and was a little sad that I spens the whole day at home because the weather was bad. I decided to go for at least some food and made myself ready for it in front of the mirrow when i suddenly got an email. I was curious about it so I walked back in my room and checked it..it was from Thailand! An agency wanted to do a skype casting with me! That was a good sign. I took the laptop of my roommate and was online right away. It was very fast: they asked me a lot of questions , the bookers came to see me and while I had to change to my bikini they looked at my book on my homepage. After that it sa even faster: they were talking about the date I have to leave China because of my visum and when the flight ticket has to be booked..After this call my world changed completely..I was preparing to go to Bangkok. I was there already..last year..you can see it on this blog a few posts ago. But this is a place that I can go 5 more times or even stay longer. I knew I go to a place I liked a lot and this would happen in a few days already..So I started to pack a few things right away and told the agency that I want to close my statement and pick my money that I earned and say buy to everyone the next day. Later I went to celebrate my very last last party in Shanghai with my lovely roommate. It was a great party with a lot of Champagne and decorations and as always I met a lot of interesting people...and stayed out very long..
The last day was really simple: I went to the Samsung shop, bought a new phone, changed money, sent it to my mother and finished packing. My lovely Ken helped me with this. I mean the phone stuff to not the packing. And he also delivered a taxi for me for the next morning, which is had to take me to the airport. Everything was just alright and now I am here..writing you about my last week relaxing in the sun. But the post about this week will come out in a few more days...so.stay tuned about Thailand! See you. Xxx
