Bangkok 2015 WEEK 7

Sawadee :)
What a productive Week.
At the beginnin I did castings and go a Job for a swimwear catalog. Running around the city I got tired and my back amd muscles were hurting so I went to a good massage place at Thonglor, a road in the centre which is very alive having a lot of restaurants bars and massage places ;) So, after that I got hungry and ate a perfect street food of a yellow curry fried rice with shrimps and had a coconut drink with it. As a dessert I took the peanut butter pancake. Amazingly tasty.  A perfect end of a monday. Tuesday was similar, I took Katia my roommate with me to try this food and I took a coconut soup with shrimps this time. And I got the message that a Photographer from Paris who came and casted us the week before wants to shoot me. So, wednesday was the shooting and it was great. We went to China town where the streets are just colorful with a lot of shops and streetfood and a lot of people. It was the perfect background to do full body shots crossing the street. We shooted the whole day around the place and in small streets and markets too. Hopefully I will get the pictures soon and they will be great. The same day in the evening there was this festival here in Thailand called Loi Krathong. Its celebrated every year to let go of all one's hatred, anger, and defilements. On the night of the full moon, Thais launch their krathong on a river, canal or a pond, making a wish and paying respect to the water spirits. On my pictures you can see how a Krathong looks like and see me letting it down to the Bangkok Chaopraya river making a Wish. We were called to that place by a huge company of traditional thais celebrating the festival with a meal and all their relatives. You can see some of the small kids on the photos.
The next day was thanksgiving. One of our friends did a huge home party to celebrate it. We bought all the ingridients to cook whatever we want and got together in day time with drinks and music and were cooking until all the guests didnt come. We did 3 huge turkeys, salmon filets, salads, risotto, mashed and fried potato and meat balls. For dessert we had apple pie and melted chocolate out of different sorts with marshmellows. It was delicious and as you can imagine we were full and drunk and happy and it was a fantastic night all together. I dont remember what was on friday but for saturday I got a nice job for a jewerly company from india. The team was very nice, all of them were open minded and in a good mood. We shooted in some old house with a huge garden all in a baroque style owned by an old french man living there alone with some dogs. There was another model shooting with me together she was also french. The athmosphere was very calm, I felt like somewhere in france in summer with birds dogs and butterlfies sourrounded by nice people doing good pictures. So, I am looking forward for the results. On sunday i had a few appointements and after went to the huge chatuchak market to buy some last things as sandals and balms for home. In the evening my thai friends invited us for a wine and we ended up at the crazy khaosarn road to eat ice cream and buy traditional dresses. I was strong enough to leave out the party as a I knew I had to stand up early the next day for a very important job: a cosmetic compagne for in2it.
Cheers!
